Arbi Masihi, FNP-C - President

Arbi Masihi is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in the field of hospice care. As the founder and President of Divinity Hospice, he has channeled his deep commitment and expertise towards enhancing the quality of end-of-life care for patients facing terminal illnesses.

Arbi's journey in healthcare has been marked by his unyielding passion for hospice and palliative nursing care. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

His journey into hospice care was inspired by a profound understanding of the existing gaps in the hospice and end-of-life care industry. With a background in Critical Care Nursing, Arbi Masihi is well-prepared to deliver the highest standard of hospice care.

Arbi's dedication to the field is further underlined by his active participation in professional organizations, including the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. These affiliations reflect his commitment to staying informed about the latest hospice practices and advancements.

With a profound commitment to improving the quality of life for those facing terminal illnesses, Arbi Masihi brings a wealth of experience to Divinity Hospice. From his early career, saving critically ill patients' lives in intensive care units to coordinating and overseeing the care of hospice patients, he continues to lead with unwavering dedication.

Máne Shamiryan, MSN, FNP-C - Vice President

Máne Shamiryan is a dedicated healthcare professional with a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the field of hospice care. As the Vice President of Divinity Hospice, her expertise and unwavering dedication have played a pivotal role in the organization's growth and its reputation as a respected provider in the hospice industry.

With a diverse background in healthcare, Máne has traversed various roles, including inpatient critical care nursing, urgent and emergent care, hospice, and home health nursing. She holds a Master of Science Degree specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University.

Máne is a proud member of esteemed professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Her commitment lies in delivering the highest quality of patient care, guided by strict adherence to nursing practice guidelines, regulatory standards, and care protocols.

Having provided care in a multitude of clinical settings, including renowned institutions such as Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Adventist Health, and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Máne possesses a well-rounded skill set and the expertise to cater to a wide array of patient needs.

Máne's dedication to serving the community extends beyond the professional realm. She has completed over a thousand hours of volunteer work, including a medical mission trip overseas to provide specialized care to underprivileged patients.

Máne Shamiryan's skills, expertise, knowledge, unwavering commitment, and compassionate approach to patient care have been instrumental in the continuous development and growth of Divinity Hospice as a highly respected provider in the hospice industry.

A Comprehensive Team To Support You & Your Family

 

Primary Physician

The patient and family may elect to continue to direct care through their personal physician via communication with hospice nurses as well as the Hospice Medical Director.

Hospice Medical Director

Physician of the interdisciplinary team who is responsible for the overall management of patients by overseeing the appropriateness of patient care. Serves as a consultant to the interdisciplinary team and may work with your primary physician on palliative care treatment plans as needed.

Registered Nurses/ Licensed Vocational Nurses

Our skilled nurses play a pivotal role in patient care. The RN Case Manager is responsible for each patient’s nursing plan of care and overseeing the care and services provided to each patient. Our compassionate nurses provide thorough individualized nursing care based on specific patient needs. Main goal of care is to provide comfort for the patient and family throughout the end of life experience via preventing and relieving pain and other symptoms, ensuring that all patient care supplies and medications are available, monitoring medication effectiveness, and keeping a close contact with the medical doctor in further implementing the best quality care possible and facilitating utmost comfort.

Spiritual Counselor

Available to provide spiritual support directly to any patient or family member who wishes to receive spiritual care. In addition, the spiritual counselor will assess each patient or family member’s unique spiritual needs based on respect for different faith and beliefs and will coordinate the desired service.

Volunteers

Volunteers are available to visit on an as needed basis to socialize with the patient.

Dietitian

Dietitians are available to provide nutritional assessments and provide dietary recommendations to adequately maintain patient’s nutritional and hydration status.

Director of Patient Care Services

Directs the Divinity Hospice organization toward growth and development of operations of business needs. Above all, ensuring that the organization is exceeding patient and family needs and expectations of care.

Social Workers

Available to provide emotional support, counseling and guidance through community resources for patients and family members.

Bereavement Counseling

Provides support to grieving individuals and families throughout the dying process and after the death of a loved one through individualized grief and loss counseling, referral to support groups and professional organizations, as well as one on one counseling on an as needed basis.

Home Health Aide

Home Health Aides regularly visit patients to assist patients in activities of daily living and personal care such light housekeeping, patient positioning, bathing, oral hygiene, ambulation, etc.

Physical, Speech & Occupational Therapy

These therapies are available based on individual patient needs in order to enhance the quality of life, safety and comfort of our patients.

Volunteer Coordinator

Recruitment, training and continued supervision of Hospice Volunteers. Responsible for making safe and appropriate placements of volunteers for patient tasks.
